No. However, even though it is not a real rock, the St. Helens RocLok is formed using a mold taken from a rock near Mount St. Helens to provide the appearance of a real rock and provide a safe place to hide a key. Even better, each of our RocLoks are handmade in the USA.

2. How big is the Hide a Key Rock? The overall dimensions of the St. Helens RocLok are 7” by 7” with a weight of 10 lbs. We also offer 4 other styles of Hide a Key Rocks with varying sizes and weights to choose from, each with the ability to hold the same number of keys.

3. How many keys can this Hide a Key Rock hold? All of our Hide a Key Rocks have the same size key safe enclosure. The dimensions of the key safe inside the RocLoks are 3” X 2” X .5”. This allows room for several keys (without key rings or key chains) to fit inside.

4. Will the Hide a Key Rock hold up in the weather? This key hider rock is rated for the outdoor industry. The exterior of the RocLok is designed to shed water and keep moisture from entering from the outside. Water from the ground is prevented from rising into the key storage chamber by an air pocket created when the Hide a Key Rock is in its storage position (locking side to the ground). A silicone based oil lubricant is recommended for the combination lock to prevent any long-term possibility of rust.
