This door mail slot is made from solid brass and comes in 6 finish options. Door mail slots allow you the convenience of having your mail delivered direct to your home without compromising your security.

This mail slot is 3” H x 10” L and the actual opening is 1 7/8” H x 7 5/8” W. This means items must fit within these dimensions to be accepted through the opening. This is a two piece mail slot. The front exterior piece screws to the exterior of the door and the interior piece attaches to the interior of the door.

The exterior mail flap is spring-loaded which means when it's opened it will snap closed when you let go, the interior flap is not.

An optional sleeve can be purchased in case you have a hollow door and you are concerned mail may slip in between the door panels. The sleeve is made of stainless steel. This mail door sleeve measures 2” H x 8 3/16” W, and is designed for standard doors that are 1 ¾” thick.

The interior and exterior sides of the mail slots have flaps. The exterior flap on the mailslot is spring-loaded and the interior flap closes via gravity.
