The Adjustable Through the Wall Payment Drop Box allows you to adjust the chute to your wall thickness, up to 8 inches. Contact us directly for walls greater than 8 inches. One part of the chute is fixed (welded) to the top of the receptacle which allows items to drop directly into the secure receptacle at a approx 60 degree angle. Another chute slides into the fixed chute which allows you to adjust to your wall thickness. The minimum wall thickness suitable for this drop box chute is 3 inches and the maximum wall thickness will be 8 inches.

The cover plate choices range from 3/8" high of an opening which will allow checks, cash and thin envelopes to be easily and securely dropped into the secure receptacle. The largest height, 2-1/2", will allow a money bag or thicker sized envelopes to be dropped into the secure receptacle. We highly recommend choosing the cover plate drop opening size which will barely allows the items to be dropped. This means if you only receive envelopes with a check or a small amounts of cash there is no need to chose the larger one  or two inch high opening. The larger the opening the more you risk someone being able to fish items back out. There is an anti-fishing baffle at the bottom of the chute which helps prevent fishing items out with the use of a string or wire with something tacky or sticky on the end. However with the smallest sized opening you will make it more difficult for someone to pull items out. 

Typically with the larger opening, large enough for a money bag, the weight of the bag helps prevent someone from fishing it out. No matter which cover plate opening you chose the anti-fishing device is included. The anti-fishing device is a saw tooth strip of metal which runs along the bottom of the chute. This drop box is made to order and the approximate production time is two to three weeks. 

The receptacle is 12" wide by 12" deep by 17" high. The Adjustable Through the Wall Payment Drop Box can be free standing and secured to the floor, a table , or secured to a wall. The adjustable chute extends to 34 inches long which will fits through a maximum wall thickness of 8 inches. The chute is designed as part of the safe and cannot be removed; it measures 5-1/2” high x 10”  wide however the maximum thickness will be dependent on the cover plate you pick. The cover plate opening choices ranges from 3/8" to 2-1/2" high and the maximum width will be just under 10 inches.

This drop box comes with three lock options. Option 1: Single lock with two keys, with this option the secondary lock is disabled allowing a single lock to secure the receptacle. Option 2: Equipped with dual custody safe deposit lock with two (2) operator keys and one (1) guard key. With this option both keys must be present to open the receptacle. Option 3: LaGard LG Electronic keypad. No key is needed to open the safe. The electronic keypad allows you to set your own code which will give access to the secure receptacle.
