Adjustable Through the Wall Mail Drop Slot

This Wall Mail Drop Slot is adjustable for wall thicknesses from 4 to 20 inches or more. Choose the option above which best fits your wall thickness. There is also an option for the size of the drop slot. The cover plate which goes on the exterior  has a slot cut through which allows items to be dropped down the chute. The width of the slot is 10 inches and the height of the slot can be made from 3/8 inch high to 2-3/4 inches.

The actual chute is 11 inches wide and 3 inches high. At the bottom of the chute there are anti-phishing teeth. The teeth act as fingers so when someone tries to phish items back through the slot the wire will fall between the teeth and as the pulls anything back out the teeth will knock it back down. There is an option to include the anti-phishing teeth or not. We now have an option for a rain guard. The rain guard option will add a metal piece welded to the top of the cover plate to help deflect rain. 

We will make the chute slighly thicker than your wall and the cover plate will be welded to the chute. You will secure the chute in two places. First through the holes in the face plate and also through pre drilled holes in the chute. 

The chute is two pieces with screws which allow it to adjust to your needed wall thickness. There is a plate which goes around the chute that is welded to one of the chute pieces which allos you to secure the chute the wall. The entire adjustable chute and cover plate is made of thick 12 guage steel.

It is texture powder coated and there are 6 color options, almond, white, black, red, gray and light gray. It can be easily painted to your personal color choice using rustoluem paint which can be purchased at most hardware stores. This mail slot is made to order and production time is roughly 8 to 12 business days, occasionally longer.
